SmackDown Results 9/29/23

- Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman kick off WWE SmackDown. Heyman says that he, Jimmy, and Solo acknowledge their tribal chief. Heyman then shows a video clip from last week's episode of WWE SmackDown. Karl Anderson enters the rings and takes out Jimmy and Solo. Karl Anderson tells The Bloodline, "they made it personal when they put AJ [Styles] in the hospital." He challenges one of The Bloodline members to a match.

The match is underway. Karl Anderson is in control and hits a nice spinebuster on Jimmy Uso. Solo Sikoa distracts the referee and Anderson.

Winner: Jimmy Uso ( w/ Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman)

Austin Theory vs. Cameron Grimes: Winner: Austin Theory

United States Championship Match

Santos Escobar vs. Rey Mysterio (c): Winner and still U.S. Champion: Rey Mysterio

Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley ( w/ Damage CTRL's Dakota Kai & IYO SKY): Winner: Charlotte Flair

We get a promo for NXT No Mercy

- It's announced that we will see The Judgement Day on SmackDown next week and Dragon Lee vs. Austin Theory.

John Cena takes out Jimmy Uso with an elbow. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy begin attacking John Cena. LA Knight's music hits, and he makes the save for Cena. He takes out both Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, and they leave the ring. LA Knight signs the contract and will team with Cena at WWE Fastlane.

Dominik Mysterio Retains NXT North American Championship at WWE NXT Great American Bash 2023

BY: RYAN Dominik Mysterio retained the NXT North American Title at NXT Great American Bash, defeating Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali in a triple threat match. Rhea Ripley put Lee through a table with the Rip Tide and handed Dom the championship to hit Lee with. Lee was able to kick out, but the damage had been done. After knocking Dominik down off the top rope, Ali hit a 450 on Lee and seemed to have the title won, by Ripley pulled him out of the ring.
